As we come towards another years end, it's always a time of reflection here. With new non music related business projects dawning, life sails on in all it's forms and time will decrease for music productions, but the aim is to keep the good ship afloat when one can. Speaking of which, we are excited about releasing the first album on the label, which you may have seen about, by yours truly.
After releasing a slew of 12"s over the years, it feels good to reach a point where one has actually laid down a body of work as one, rather than a collection of tracks hanging around, or a rushed project. It feel's like, moving forward, that albums may become more of a focus for me, as they represent a challenge and complexity that keep one's motivation for arts sake, as well as creating pieces that can be revisited throughout life and hopefully pass on a bit of positivity to listeners at the same time. That feels good.
Set for release in January 2014, i'd like to think it's a fitting tribute for reflective cold balmy nights, a mood setter for those needed moments in life. Gives me great pleasure to release it on my own imprint, as it feels right to do this creatively, despite the offers from labels. It's not about the adulation or recognition seeking, the money or the back slapping. It is what it is. Something for you all, from me.

A.E.R. spring update.....
Been a while. Hope this finds you well. After a winter conjuring up new material i'm pleased to announce that i am nearing completion of my first album, to be released on A.E.R. this summer. Keep your eyes peeled for snippets in the near future, but for now i'm focusing on the last few tracks.
I have just completed a remix for old school legend Aubrey's new label called DOT records (a subsidiary of solid groove records). My remix joins Paul Mac's along with the original track to be released via CLONE distribution in Holland in the future.
Played at a great party a few weeks back, ran by Joe Ellis & Leif, residents at Freerotation festival. The party is called Until My Heart Stops. It was the opening party. I span a back to back set with Jane Fitz, which went really well and the feedback was immense. Here's the flyer below, look out for the next one coming soon. They are also starting a vinyl label with the same name.
This friday I am playing at a party called WAX'D at The Horse & Groom in Shoreditch. I am on 1-3am, looking forward to this one, flyer below!

Work passed onto Balance Alliance affiliated label FINALE SESSIONS USA is shortly to be released in December.

Miles Sagnia - Summer / Autumn releases...
Hope this finds you in fine form....
Apart from the previous post (where AER04 was mentioned, the next release on Atmospheric Existence featuring AYBEE alongside myself), I thought i'd update you on some other projects forthcoming...
I have recently finished a remix of KAZUYA KAWAKAMI'S "FOOTPRINTS" on Michigan based MYLES SERGE CLARK'S label RE(FORM) RECORDINGS... Due to drop at some point over the summer on 12'... A Slice of Deep aquatic abstract Techno for the minds eye...
Secondly, I have passed on material to FINALE SESSIONS, Mike Zucker's label... I have heard that both Chez Damier & Mike are feeling it. Mike runs BALANCE ALLIANCE with Chez and he will be releasing X2 tracks over the next few months. The tracks are entitled "ALLEYS OF MY MIND" & "BENEATH THE SURFACE"... Alleys was penned recently and Beneath the surface is one from the vaults! Look forward to that slice of vocal infused wave music dropping on 12'...
Thirdly I have passed over a remix to FRANCO CAGNELLI. The remix is of LEONID - FEEL, due out on 12' on NOWAR in the autumn.
Finally, a track called "CLEAR VISION" is in the hands of Dr. Keith Worthy, to feature on the AESTHETIC AUDIO COMPILATION due to drop this autumn.....

FREEROTATION FESTIVAL JULY.....
I will be playing at this years Freerotation Festival.. Freerotation is a beautiful boutique festival
that draws together a loyal crowd of music heads, most of which have been there since it's inception several years ago. The vibe is second to none, set against a backdrop of breathtaking scenery at the foot of the Black mountains of Wales, on the English side, outside a Town called Hay-On-Wye...
The venue (Clyro Court) happens to be the location of some of my earliest memories of being exposed to electronic music back in the early 90's, where the venue held some legendary gatherings... I happened to be living only 10 miles away at the time growing up as a kid....
Steevio & Suzybee, along with a tight crew of friends work very hard to make this event special and memorable every year. The line up is always a line up of substance, with artists who are truly individual booked to play... It seems hard nowadays to find events with such integrity and spirit, I only hope that the inspiration spreads to others and more organisers follow in this vein... The vision to create a networking community of like minds flies in the face of meaningless hype and trend... I cannot wait to spend several days relaxing amongst friends basking in the true spiritual face of the UK Underground...
